Burnt out RV at Vaseux Lake

Riding along Highway 97 between Okanagan Falls & Gallagar Lake I spotted this burnt out Arrow Recreational vehicle at Vaseux Lake. Apparently this caught fire yesterday & I can only imagine what that must have looked like...
You never know what you'll see when out for a motorcycle ride.

Winter riding conditions.

Test ride #2
Checked the forecast before I left & it said no rain till 8pm so I took off into the mountains at 2pm and approximately an hour into the ride a storm started rolling in quite quickly.
Decided to leave the mountains & get to lower ground, sure glad I did cause the rain started early!
That would most likely have been snow in the elevation I just left.
40 minutes of riding in the rain, I kept looking at the windshield making sure the water wasn't freezing & happy it was only rain!
Made it home safely & racked up another 100 kilometres or so and the bike performed just as it should.

Vrod Muscle mirrors on a 2003 Vrod

Removed the OEM 2003 Harley-Davidson VRSCA VROD mirrors and signal lights and mounted the 2014 Muscle mirrors with intergraded turn signals in the stems. Make for a much cleaner look in my opinion, but now need to order a pair of Dual Element conversion wiring diodes to stop the hyper flash.
Was able to use Colony chrome flanged nuts to secure the threaded stems in place and chrome socket head bolts to secure the mirrors to the stems. Devils in the details!
Harley-Davidson VROD Revolution engine and Colony

The Harley-Davidson VROD Revolution engine is a beautifully designed engine and looks like a piece of art in my opinion.
However, replacing the OEM bolts with chrome ones from the COLONY CHROME Complete Motor Allen Show Bike Kit makes it even better!

Vrod front brake disc with polished finish

I tried the satin look finish, liked it better than the OEM finish, but neither can compare to the polished finish in my opinion.
VROD front axle spacers in chrome & grooved by COLONY

I have the smooth spacers on my other bike and decided to try out the Colony chrome plated decorative grooved front axle and nut spacer kit on this bike. (stock number: 2153-3) Really like how closely the pattern matches the billet muffler clamps as well!

VROD front brake disc with satin finish

Thought I'd try sanding the brake disc with only 220 grit for a "Satin look" then test fit it on the bike to see how it would play off the polished wheel and the OEM finish of the lower legs.
Vrod engine with COLONY CHROME hardware

Pulled off the exhaust system to replace the header seals and in doing so had easy access to the hard to reach OEM allen head hardware on the clutch cover and water pump cover. Replaced all those bolts and washers with chrome ones from the COLONY CHROME Complete Motor Allen Show Bike Kit 2002-2006 VRODS part number: 1021-P
