Finished 1st pass using AutoSol and lots of elbow grease. I'm hopeful after a second pass it will be good to go.

Part Three of aluminum wheel restoration
Cleaned the grime off with Harley Davidson spray cleaner and started polishing by hand with AutoSol. (2003 VRSCA 100th Anniversary VROD)

Brake disc removed allows easy access to the wheel for polishing. Hopefully I'll be able to polish it up & not have to sand cause I swore up and down I'd never do that again.

2003 VROD arrival

Just took possession of this 2003 Harley-Davidson 100th Anniversary VRSCA VROD. It'll be my winter project since it needs a lot of TLC & the wheels will need a lot of elbow grease to meet my standards. During the next few months I'll begin going over the entire bike with a fine tooth comb making sure it's in safe riding condition for Spring.

Motorcycle riding on the Icefields Parkway

The Icefields Parkway (Highway 93) between Lake Louise and Jasper is 230 kilometers long and is my all time favourite place to ride, I've been there several times and can't wait to go back again.
Sadly the Mount Robson Inn burnt down in the terrible Jasper fire this year BUT they will rebuild!
